LICENSE PREPARATION CLASSES
Amateur Radio Class for The General Class License

SCHEDULE
The Thursday evening class will start on September 16, 2010. The sessions will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm each Thursday evening. The class will run for eight weeks, ending on November 4, 2010. The FCC test will be given on November 9, 2010.
Course Objective: The principal objective of the class is to prepare the student to successfully pass the FCC’s Amateur Radio General Test.
Required Text: “ARRL General Class License Manual,” Level 2. Published by Amateur Radio Relay League [ARRL] Newington CT.
Location: The course will be conducted at Green Clover Hall in the Marion County Government Complex on SE 25th Avenue. Green Clover Hall is at the rear of the complex. The address is 319 SE 26TH Terrace, Ocala, FL 34471-2312. See Our Location page for a map.
Cost: There is no charge for the courses. A manual, "ARRL General Class License Manual, Level 2” is required. The manual will be available at the class for $25.00. There will be a $15.00 fee to take the FCC test.
